How is the decision made about how much support my child will receive?
The parents and child (where age allows) will be involved in all stages of the discussion about the type of support which might be offered.
The class teacher and teaching assistant (TA) working with the child, as well as the special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) will consider the needs of the child as well as the views of the child and parents.
When appropriate external professional support may be accessed.
