E-Safety

The internet and all its applications are an incredible set of tools and we couldn't manage modern everyday life without them.  However, along with the many benefits, there are also areas of potential significant harm for children.

Please keep a vigilant eye on your child's use of the internet and monitor their usage.  Remember help is always available at school and we can all support you and your child.

Keep a look out for our Safeguarding Newsletters and attachments, which often provide useful information.  These can be found on the Safeguarding page.

There are also many websites which are helpful, including CEOP.  If you or anyone you know is worried about Child Exploitation, Online Protection or anything related to Internet safety please talk to us and/or click the link below which will take you to the CEOP website.

Tips for staying safe online:

  • Make sure you keep new online friends strictly online. If someone you don't know asks to be your online friend you must ensure an adult knows about it.

  • Know how to use the CEOP Button and how to report it to the CEOP Centre if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards you.
