Assess-Plan-Do-Review
In line with best practice, we follow an assess, plan, do, review cycle. This is introduced to parents who may feel their child has an additional need. The SENCO can provide more information about this.
There are opportunities for parents to meet the SENCO informally at coffee mornings/afternoons hosted at the school. Other staff and external professionals are often invited to attend.
Occasionally, formal workshops will be held to share information and strategies with parents. Information about these is circulated to all parents when they are arranged.
In addition the SENCO holds regular individual meetings where parents can discuss their child’s progress and raise any concerns about their learning. Please contact the school office if you would like to talk to the SENCO.
